Performances will be on Friday, Jan. 17, Saturday, Jan. 18 & Sunday, Jan. 19 in Avon High School’s state-of-the-art auditorium. Rehearsals will be in November, December & early January.
Plaza Suite is three interconnected one-act plays that each take place in the same elegant suite at the New York Plaza Hotel. Each one-act primarily concerns a man and a woman dealing with personal, marital, or romantic situations, typically in a comic way (and sometimes a little drama).
Auditions
WHERE: The Yoga Shop of Avon, Riverdale Farms, 136 Simsbury Rd, Avon, Building 4, 2nd floor.
WHEN: Monday, October 14 and Tuesday October 15, 7:30 to 10:00 p.m. Please select either day and arrive anytime between 7:20 and 9:20. Be prepared for a short to moderate wait. Callbacks will be on Wednesday, October 16.
WHO: Anyone! Experienced and newcomers. Age range for main roles: 40s through 50s. Age range for supporting roles (male & female): early 20s though late 30s. Other than some secondary characters, each one-act will have a separate cast.
WHAT ELSE: Sides will be provided. Please bring a resume if you have one.
