Dinner with Michelle

Rick and Michelle are out to dinner for the first time. All may not be what it seems to be.

  • Rick, professional but just a little rumpled.
  • Michelle, well-dressed and pretty.

Philip Holt (playwright) has had plays produced in New York and London. Past Perfect was awarded the 2017 Stockwell Playhouse One-Act Festival writers’ bursary prize and was featured at the New York New Works and RADA Festivals. 366 Days won a 2020 Off West End OnComm award. Rob Thornton (director) has been involved both on stage and off with many Connecticut and Western Massachusetts theatre groups. His favorite on-stage role was Stephen/Jesus in Godspell, and as a director he counts Avenue Q as one of his all-time favorite accomplishments. Rob is very happy to be participating with this fledgling group.

Stephen Donnelly (Rick), a novice actor, had his first performance as the lead in The Time of Your Life earlier this summer. He is excited for the opportunity to continue to grow as an actor with this debut production of Playhouse 44. Stephen would like to thank his family for supporting him, and his father for introducing him to acting.

Kate Buffone (Michelle) has been in many plays and counts among her favorite roles Sylvia in Sylvia at the Goshen Players and Eastbound Theatre, Claire in Rumors at Landmark Community Theatre, and Babe in Crimes of the Heart at the Phoenix Stage Company. She has a huge love for ballet, interior design, and anything sourdough. Kate lives in Avon with her husband Jim and their two little girls, Ella and Mia.
