Jennifer Valentine (director) studied modern dance and choreography at Emerson College in Boston, and with the Ram Island Dance Company in Portland, ME. When cast in Lysistrata at Emerson, theater became a primary passion. She has appeared in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Only Murders in the Building and in local films with CSB Media Arts in Farmington. Jennifer is a teacher, massage therapist, and Reiki Master.

Lucy Loveland (Joanie, Joanie and Freddie on Valentine’s Day) is 11 years old and had her passion for theater ignited when she played an orphan in Annie Jr. in Lake Oswego, Oregon. In the Avon schools theater program she dazzled audiences as Tomatoa’s Left Claw in Moana Jr., played various townspeople in Aladdin, and stood out as Young Elsa in Frozen Jr. Lucy’s family adores watching her perform, and she is immensely grateful for their unwavering support. She is ecstatic to be working with Playhouse 44 on its debut production.

Jaden Nikirk (Freddie, Joanie and Freddie on Valentine’s Day) is thrilled to be a part of this production with this delightful new theatre group. He is relatively new to the theatre scene, but made a wonderful debut as Young Shrek in Shrek last year with The Theatre Guild of Simsbury. Jaden, who will be making the move to Avon Middle School in the fall, thanks his family for their love and support.
