Playhouse 44 Presents September Serenaders at Raymour & Flanigan

This event is sold out.

Playhouse 44 presents “September Serenaders,” a unique musical event. The concert (free with a suggested donation) will feature several captivating troubadours who aren’t famous—but should be!

Seating is limited so please email AvonPlayhouse44@gmail.com to register, and indicate if you are reserving for one person or two.

On the evening of Thursday, September 12, eight Connecticut balladeers will prove how their backstories and skills as singer-songwriter-guitarists are as compelling as some of the famous troubadours who have already made their mark. What’s more, they’ll do it in one of the most unusual venues for a night of acoustic pleasure: Raymour & Flanigan in Avon.

“Music is a universal language and a collective need. With the help of Playhouse 44, we are devoting a night to music right here in our store,” says Mark Bonenfant, manager of the Raymour & Flanigan on Route 44 in Avon. “After all, isn’t comfort and functionality, which our products represent, also a shared objective? So as unique as this event is, it’s also a perfect match.”

Each musician will perform three songs, including some highly-intriguing originals. The event is on Thursday evening, September 12, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Space is limited, so registering on this site is required.

Performers include Roy O’Neil, Samuel Croff, Bill Benson, JC Hill, Robyn Miller, Bill Dempsey, Mt. Gibley, and James Stahr.
